This is one of the biggest issues with dynamic websites; it is very difficult to get them to rank well in the search engines because they don't have HTML code in them. As far as the search engines are concerned a website is one that is built with HTML so that is what they look for. This creates a problem since you obviously want your site to rank well in the search engines so that you can get visitors. Javascript is one way around the problem. You can create a page that is largely HTML and then add elements to it that are coded in Javascript. That will allow you to increase interactivity of your site while remaining an HTML site so that it will rank well in the search engines.
